Do you too feel sometimes the days/weeks/months just fly by?
To make the most out of my days and not feeling like they are slipping away one after another, waking up one morning and without much notice the week and then the month have passed by, I recently made the conscious decision to start my day with a certain routine. I also ‘re-named’ my ‘to-do list’ a ‘creation list’. ‘Creating’ my day/week/ months… the way I want it. That doesn’t mean I always tick off every single item on that list, but it surely makes me achieve more than if I had not created the list.
Let me give you an example of my morning. Once I wake up I will do my cat&dog exercise before heading for the bathroom (ok, let’s say I will do that 90% of the time ;-)). After that I start my day with some meditation before sitting down for 3x20min. blocks to work on what is important to me for that day/week/period in my life.
Currently that is reviewing my neurology study, doing some uni study and work on whatever is important to me that day. This could be anything work related like reviewing patient files, writing reports, studying x-rays, looking up blood tests etc.or simply reading a book. So for the first 90min., before I even leave the house I have already done more than I would have done sometimes in an entire day in the past. Starting every day with such a feeling feels awesome. Again, this is just my routine, there is no right or wrong routine as it is very personal and tailored to what is important to you and what you want to achieve and accomplish in your day/week/month/life etc.
